EXPERIENCE
Operations & Compliance Manager - T.S. Carrier Inc., Brampton, ON - April 2021 to Present
Managed all aspects of excavation projects from post purchase order to completion, ensured all fleet vehicles complied with MTO & IHSA commercial vehicle safety requirements, and introduced best loss prevention practices (Driver testing & compliance).
Improved and created new procedures for vehicle and operator maintenance, operation, and safety to achieve ‘Excellent’ overall carrier safety rating from Ministry of Transportation.
Managed all aspects of excavation projects from post purchase order to completion, ensured all fleet vehicles complied with MTO commercial vehicle safety requirements, and introduced best loss prevention practices (Driver testing & compliance)
Coordinated and reviewed excavation site diagrams, purchase orders and engineering specifications
Tracked change orders, contractors, and maintained compliance of subcontractors, and generated invoices and validated WSIB certificates
Preflight Methods, Validation & User Experience - Bombardier Inc. Toronto, ON - March 2020 to April 2021
As a part of the Bombardier’s Global 7500 Pre-flight team, day-to-day task would include the following,
• Troubleshooting aircraft snags (issues) involving multiple A/C, specific examples include:
→ Asymmetrical Motive flow (Uneven fuel flow and fuel consumption by GE Passport engines)
▪ Reviewed AHMS data, FQMC and engine FADEC data to localize issue.
▪ Disassembled LHS motive flow fuel distribution lines and inspected for debris in lines, pumps, ejectors, and fuel tanks
▪ Using borescope discovered flexible fuel lines twisted due to over-torqueing during connection installation between aft fuselage and center fuselage, component analysis done, and RFC filed to supplier to propose better design which is less susceptible to installation error and over torqueing as well as installation notice and change put in place to prevent repeat issues.
→ Post-flight HUD synthetic vision & Visual field of reference misalignment noted by Test Pilot
▪ Root cause found by analyzing Flight Data Recorder data to be defective HUD combiner and overhead unit (projector)
→ Pilot noted high speed roll during flight with flight controls undisturbed
▪ A/C’S ailerons electronically re-rigged to neutral zero using onboard maintenance system.
• Lead product quality management meetings, benchmarking, and clinics to understand the voice of the customers. All pain points were captured and statistically analyzed to translate them into useable features
• Conducted user experience development clinics and surveys to ensure voice of the customers are captured, and conveyed useful insights back to engineering teams to drive design changes
• Writing and updating Flight Test procedures based on engineering requirements to perform critical test prior to first fight.
• Support Transport Canada minister delegates regulations in certification process for each aircraft to receive Certificate of Airworthiness.
• Support Production, core methods, design engineering, quality, and suppliers in coordinating resolutions to re-occurring issues related to A/C build, including airframe, systems & wiring, propulsion.
Preflight Methods Analyst - Aircraft Pre-Flight - Bombardier Inc. Toronto, ON - January 2019 to March 2020
• Provided troubleshooting recommendations for aircraft systems problems and monitor the implementation of these plans.
• Provided support and guidance relating to aircraft systems, their function and testing. Raised RFC’s as necessary for further design and manufacturing improvements
• Provided the necessary troubleshooting documents to production i.e. Snag Resolution Sheets.
▪ Engaged with suppliers on a frequent basis to obtain engineering quotes and assess feasibility on new engineering design changes, to ensure it meets requirements, timing, quality, milestones, and cost
Junior Design Engineer (Work-Study) - University of Guelph, Guelph, ON - January 2016 to April 2016
Worked with a team of professors and engineering graduate students to design linear generator for energy harvesting and data collection applications
Successfully designed a mechanism that can be implemented in automotive suspension using multiple engineering tools: AutoCAD, Solidworks, Matlab & NI LabView
Built prototypemodel of the design that underwent various testing and acquire data for analysis of feasibility of design
Junior Industrial Engineer (Co-op) - Novellis, Mississauga, ON - April 2015 to September 2015
Worked with a team of engineers to research and develop product specifications to create a new assembly line in their containers department
As apart of the research and development stages, I had taken part in studying and testing trial runs on existing lines to verify the simulated results
Gained a better understanding of manufacturing processes and quality improvement
Shop Technician - Clarence Truck Center, Brampton, ON - May 2014 to August 2014
Assisted Mechanical Technicians with task ranging from regular heavy truck maintenance to diesel engine repair
Ensured shop safety was enforced, and shop equipment was maintained and functioning correctly
Set up repair schedules, and informed supervisor of when equipment required replacement
Manufacturing Quality Inspector - Magna Modatek Systems, Milton, ON - May 2013 to August 2013
